I don’t care where or when this was shot…this is rock n’ roll and you need to see it.
So what do YOU think? Does Noel Gallagher have the chops to stand alongside Pete Towsend in The Who? Take our poll!

I’m back at Moonlight Studios tonight putting the final touches on The Swagger Sticks new CD. We’re making some final tweaks, cleaning up some vocal tracks in ProTools, and then this bitch is in the can! The atmosphere is totally relaxed. We’re in the home stretch and everyone knows it. I’m over making this record. [...]

Local band Duality rocked The Good Hurt in Venice, CA this past Saturday night. Duality is an LA-based four piece headed by lead vocalist Joe Anselm, with Gene Migaki on Bass, Mike DLP on keyboards and Trevor Erikson on Drums.
I didn’t know what I was in for but once they started playing I was able to [...]

Yes, it’s true. I’m coming clean. Instead of going to Coachella, I went to the Britney Spears concert last Thursday at the Staples Center here in LA to celebrate my girlfriend’s 24th bday. Though I would not describe myself as a Britney Spears fan per se, seeing her perform was nothing less than a pop [...]

Ok, The Swagger Sticks just received a formal rejection to open for Steel Panther (formerly Metal Skool), which is a step in the right direction (at least they are now bothering to reject us). That probably has something to due with the fact that we’ve been BANNED from The Key Club due a small “incident” that was NOT our fault.
At any [...]

The Joe Satriani/Coldplay lawsuit is by no means a new story. However, after reading Coldplay’s repsone to Joe Satriani’s copyright claim, that the Brit rockers copied parts of Satriani’s instrumental “If I Could Fly” for their pillowy soft-rock hit “Viva La Vida,” I just had to weigh in.
If you’ve never heard “If I Could Fly” than you’re not alone. [...]
